The FRP Composite Wall Mount Fixed Egress Ladders are available in a variety of sizes to fit your application and are offered in floor mounted and wall mounted versions, for your convenience. 

All composite ladders are constructed using USA-made, top quality pultruded material with a UV resistant veil. The wall mount version attaches to vertical surface only and is mounted with the bottom rung at 12” or less from the floor. The floor mount version includes upper wall mount brackets and floor brackets for securing the ladder directly to the floor. Stainless steel brackets and hardware for corrosion resistance are included. Features include bolted/ riveted and epoxied construction. Available fully assembled or knocked down as a kit for on-site assembly and reduced shipping costs.

Finish: none. Painting is not required, but sun or UV exposure can cause fading of the pigments used in the material. This fading is cosmetic only and does not affect structural integrity of the material.

Designed for easy fabrication and installation, all of our composite products meet OSHA and ANSI requirements.

What exactly is "composite" material??

By definition, a “composite” is an engineering material consisting of 2 or more dissimilar components. These dissimilar components are usually classed as the matrix and the reinforcement. For our purposes, the matrix is epoxy plastic (or “polymer”) and the reinforcement used is textile grade glass (Fiberglass).

Fiber reinforced plastics, or FRP's are commonly used in the aerospace, automotive, marine, and construction industries. They are found in ballistic armor as well. The usage of FRP composites continues to grow at an impressive rate as these materials are used more in their existing markets and become established in relatively new markets such as biomedical devices and civil structures.
