Our FRP Composite Standard Crossover Ladders are constructed using USA made, top quality pultruded material with a UV resistant veil. Product will not corrode like steel or dent/deform like aluminum, and requires minimal maintenance compared to conventional materials. Features 3 climbing angles: 50-degree (EZ-climb), 60-degree (standard), and a 70-degree slope (space saver angle). Available in 1 to 10 step models (10” to 100” platform height, in 10” increments). Other custom sizes available. Available fully assembled or knocked down as a kit for on-site assembly and reduced shipping costs. Optional roof top mounting option also available.

What exactly is "composite" material??

By definition, a “composite” is an engineering material consisting of 2 or more dissimilar components. These dissimilar components are usually classed as the matrix and the reinforcement. For our purposes, the matrix is epoxy plastic (or “polymer”) and the reinforcement used is textile grade glass (Fiberglass).

Fiber reinforced plastics, or FRP's are commonly used in the aerospace, automotive, marine, and construction industries. They are found in ballistic armor as well. The usage of FRP composites continues to grow at an impressive rate as these materials are used more in their existing markets and become established in relatively new markets such as biomedical devices and civil structures.
